Thermo King Showcases Innovative Solutions for Urban Distribution at Solutrans
The key requirement for transporters operating in an urban environment is that their refrigeration units meet strict noise regulations while providing high energy efficiency and optimal cooling performance.
Thermo King, a manufacturer of transport temperature control solutions for a variety of mobile applications and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will showcase industry-leading solutions that demonstrate its ongoing commitment to meeting customers’ needs, at Solutrans, held in Lyon, France, on November 19-23.
Thermo King will feature innovative, customer-driven solutions that meet the need for both reduced sound level and fuel efficiency at booth 173 in hall 4 in the Lyon Eurexpo. In addition, Thermo King will host on-site speaking sessions, where experts will share their insights and best practices on a variety of topics including urban distribution, evolution in refrigerated transport and the newest trends.
“Celebrating 75 years of technical innovation, we continue to provide our customers with solutions that address industry challenges,” said Roland Duquesne, regional director for France at Thermo King. “These refrigerated transport solutions offer fleet managers maximum load protection while delivering high efficiency, reduced sound levels and low environmental impact.”
One of the solutions showcased will be the new CryoTech range. Delivering superior refrigeration, CryoTech technology uses liquid carbon dioxide (R-744) in an innovative open-loop system. The CryoTech units are PIEK certified and an estimated 90 percent quieter than conventional diesel refrigeration units, making them virtually silent.
At the booth, Thermo King will also unveil its new PIEK-certified trailer range. This new range offers a no-compromise solution, delivering both reduced sound level and high performance.
